More March in San Carlos 2017

So many beautiful evenings, but really special to have a view of the full moon!

We stopped at Larry and Judy's for happy hour and a little blue parakeet
came flying in from the woods to join us at the table.

Sunset Grill-Last night with the Weiners

Omar and the Jazz Trio entertained us

And, so did Mother Nature!

Aloe blooming in front of our bedroom
A bonfire at Boo's Beach with hot dogs and vino and cervezas for all!

Many days at Soggy-loved watching David and Susan dancing on the beach.

A fun girls' lunch at Bonifacio's Cotton Club with Doreen
and Cindy
For a change of pace, we went up north of La Manga for a quiet day at the beach.  There was quite a bit of work going on up here around some of the shacks.  I wonder if people are moving back up here.

Check out Boo and Susan!

Some of these places are quite nice, surprisingly.

The Yaquis are Natives who live in the Rio Yaqui Valley of Sonora.  During Lent, the Yaquis dress in ankle and waist rattles and celebrate a combination of Christian and native beliefs.  They pray and dance in masks to earn funds for their tribe.  They are personifying the "evil men" who persecuted Christ.

On Jim's birthday, he wanted most of all to be at home, getting some things done and getting some much needed R and R.  Susan, David and I went snorkeling in his honor.

Gabby, Jr. was at the wheel.

Leaving the marina in the Bahia

Our house this year is the two story, 2 to the left of the highest house which we
call "the ice cream house".

The tear drop
We kayak through here!

It's always exciting!

San Nicolas, up close and personal

Check out the Great Blue Heron on its nest!

So many birds, so little time

This was a whole group of grebes-hundreds of them.  They would all go under the water for periods of time together.
Later this week, we found many dead grebes on the beaches-wondering if those two things are related.

Always, the Tetas are in sight.

A wonderful day for dolphin sightings

This is where we snorkeled- Lion's Rock or Window Rock.  I wasn't a bit cold and saw so many beautiful starfish-yellow and red ones-and lots of angelfish and tangs.  A great experience!

Later Susan and David and I spent the night at Shots with Jimbo, who was
finally relaxed again!

Really hideous picture but had a little spot
on my face removed by Cryosurgery, freezing
extraordinarily!  I looked even worse as it
formed a huge blister and scabbed over .  It's always
something!  Trying very hard not to be vain!
Susan and I ventured out to La Manga one day, saw this parade of kids venturing through town-so sweet-we think celebrating Spring!

Lunch at La Manga-Hawaian Shrimp, Shrimp Tacos and
Coconut Shrimp-saved half for the boys.
Another grand day at the beach!
